💬 Every child deserves to be heard, and every voice matters in contributing to social development.
Through Child Forums, children are given a safe and supportive space to share their ideas, express their feelings, and discuss issues affecting their lives and communities—while strengthening core competencies such as leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, which are essential for life and sustainable development.
📍 The Samraong Area Program implemented Child Forums in Samraong and Krasang Primary Schools, reaching a total of 1,460 children. Through these activities, children confidently shared their experiences and perspectives, showing just how powerful their voices can be.
👏 Teachers and caregivers recognized the importance of children’s participation and encouraged the continuation and expansion of these activities to other schools.
Children worked together to analyze challenges, exchange ideas, and identify solutions to improve their school environments and communities. Their participation plays a critical role in building strong, inclusive, and resilient communities.
💚 When children are listened to and empowered to participate, their confidence and capacities grow—enabling them to become positive agents of change within their communities.
