A Grandmother’s Choice: When Education Could Not Wait
“មុននេះ ខ្ញុំចំណាយពេលភាគច្រើនដើម្បីរស់រានមានជីវិតដោយធ្វើស្រែធ្វើចម្ការ ហើយមិនបានដឹងថា ចៅៗរបស់ខ្ញុំកំពុងខកខានអ្វីសំខាន់ក្នុងជីវិតរបស់ពួកគេទេ។ តែជាមួយនឹងការគាំទ្រដែលត្រឹមត្រូវ ខ្ញុំបានយល់ថា ការអប់រំរបស់ពួកគេមិនអាចរង់ចាំបានទៀតឡើយ។”
ក្នុងនាមជាអ្នកស្ម័គ្រចិត្តអប់រំកុមារតូចជាមួយអង្គការ អេហ្វ អេក កម្ពុជា នៅអាយុ ៦៣ឆ្នាំ លោកយាយ ភោគ ជី បានធ្វើសេចក្តីសម្រេចចិត្តដ៏សំខាន់មួយ ដែលនាំមកនូវការផ្លាស់ប្តូរជាច្រើន។
ពីមុន គាត់ខំប្រឹងដើម្បីជីវភាពប្រចាំថ្ងៃ ហើយមិនដឹងថាត្រូវគាំទ្រការរៀនរបស់ចៅៗយ៉ាងណា។ ថ្ងៃនេះ គាត់តែងយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ ចំណាយពេល បង្កើតបរិយាកាសសិក្សា និងលើកទឹកចិត្តចៅៗឱ្យរៀនរាល់ថ្ងៃ។ ជាលទ្ធផល ចៅៗរបស់គាត់បានចូលរៀនទៀងទាត់ បន្តរៀននៅផ្ទះ និងចាប់ផ្តើមស្រមៃអំពីអនាគតរបស់ខ្លួន។
ពេលខ្លះ គ្រាន់តែមានការគាំទ្រត្រឹមត្រូវប៉ុណ្ណោះ ក៏អាចបម្លែងការយល់ឃើញទៅជាសេចក្តីសម្រេចចិត្ត ដែលអាចផ្លាស់ប្តូរជីវិតបាន។

At 63, Mrs. Phouk Chi, serving as a Hope Group Volunteer for Education with FH Cambodia, made a powerful decision to change—and everything followed.
Once overwhelmed by daily survival and unsure how to support learning, she now intentionally creates time, space, and encouragement for her grandchildren’s education every single day. As a result, they attend school regularly, continue learning at home, and begin to believe in their own future.
Sometimes, all it takes is the right support to turn awareness into a life‑changing choice.
