Meet Sophea, 17, a child partner with FH Cambodia in Trapeang Prasat 2 Area Program, who’s pursuing her volunteer journey as a Hope Group Volunteer for Child Monitoring 👧📋 and a Volunteer Teacher✨!
Her Journey:
➡️ Growing up in a family that undervalued girls’ education, her family faced financial hardship and health challenges.
➡️ In 2016, FH’s project in Sophea’s target community became her turning point.
How She’s Thriving:
✅ Volunteer Teacher (2021) ➔ Hope Group Volunteer for Child Monitoring (2023)
✅ Leads children’s clubs, teaches, organizes photo sessions 📸, promotes child rights, attends child form, and participates in a savings group with her mother.
✅ Ranked 6th in Grade 12 (out of 60 students)!
✅ Her aspiration is to pursue a career in accounting.
Impact Beyond Herself:
