A Mother’s and Grandmother’s Love: Nurturing the Next Generation

កម្មវិធីតំបន់ស្រុកត្រពាំងប្រាសាទ១ របស់អង្គការ អេហ្វ អេក កម្ពុជា បានចែកចាយកម្មវិធី ការចាប់ផ្ដើមដ៏ឆ្លាតវៃ! ជាមួយក្រុមអ្នកថែទាំកុមារតូច រៀងរាល់សប្ដាហ៍ ដើម្បីបង្កើនការយល់ដឹងអំពីការចិញ្ចឹមបីបាច់កុមារតូចពី ០-៥ ឆ្នាំ។ អ្នកមីង ហួត ថេត ជាសមាជិកនៃក្រុមអ្នកថែទាំ ដែលត្រូវជាម្ដាយរបស់កុមារតូច បានចូលរួមប្រជុំជាមួយកម្មវិធីនេះចំនួន២ដងរួចមកហើយ គាត់មានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ “កម្មវិធីការចាប់ផ្ដើមដ៏ឆ្លាតវៃ! ពិតជាមានសារៈសំខាន់ខ្លាំងណាស់សម្រាប់រូបខ្ញុំដែលជាម្ដាយ ព្រោះតាំងពីចូលរួមក្នុងកម្មវិធី ខ្ញុំបានយល់ដឹងបន្ថែមទៀតដូចជា៖
- ដំណើរការនៃការអភិវឌ្ឍ និងរីកលូតលាស់របស់កុមារតូច
- កត្តាដែលជះឥទ្ធិពលដល់ការអភិវឌ្ឍរបស់កុមារតូច
- តម្រូវការនៃការអភិវឌ្ឍរបស់កុមារតូច
- ការនាំកូនតូចលេង
- ការសង្កេតពីសញ្ញា ឬតម្រូវការរបស់កូន ព្រមទាំងការឆ្លើយតបបែបវិជ្ជមាន
ខ្ញុំតាំងចិត្តថានឹងចូលរួមប្រជុំជាមួយកម្មវិធីនេះឱ្យបានទៀងទាត់ ដើម្បីស្វែងយល់កាន់តែច្បាស់អំពីរបៀបចិញ្ចឹមកូនដែលត្រឹមត្រូវ មានសុខភាពល្អ ប្រាជ្ញាឈ្លៀសវៃ ព្រមទាំងការផ្ដល់អាហាររូបត្ថម្ភបន្ថែមដែលសមស្របសម្រាប់កូនរបស់ខ្ញុំ” ។
A mother’s love for her child—and a grandmother’s love for her grandchild!
The Trapeang Prasat Area Program 1 of FH Cambodia has been implementing the Smart Start! program with groups of caregivers on a weekly basis to increase awareness of early childhood care for children aged 0–5.
Ms. Hout Thet, a member of the caregiver group and a mother of a young child, has participated in this program twice. She shared:
“The Smart Start! program is very important to me as a mother. Since joining the program, I have gained a better understanding of:
- The process of early childhood development and growth
- Factors that influence child development
- The developmental needs of young children
- How to play and engage with young children
- How to observe children’s signals or needs and respond positively
I am committed to attending the program regularly to improve my knowledge of proper child-rearing practices. This will help ensure good health, intelligence, and appropriate complementary nutrition for my child.”
