Be Biet remarked, “Since my involvement with FH Cambodia, my life has seen substantial changes.” I gained confidence, honed my sketching skills by drawing for supporters annually, and improved my reading and writing. I developed strong relationships with both friends and FH Cambodia personnel. I regularly maintain my attendance at school. My parents, especially my mother, who is a health volunteer, and the FH Cambodia personnel who routinely make house visits motivate me to focus on my schoolwork. I earned a passing grade in school. My family has switched to drinking clean water; we now utilize a water filter, and toilet, and effectively manage household trash. Everyone becomes healthier.<\/p>\n

As a result of the changes in my neighborhood, the majority of parents began to invest in their children’s education by sending them to school more frequently. They urged youngsters to study diligently in order to earn good grades since this would benefit them in the future. The community as a whole has undergone a progressive transformation as a result of FH Cambodia’s training of volunteers in health, agriculture, education, and savings groups. As a result, community members were aware of household waste management, clean water consumption, the usage of water filters, toilets, and personal hygiene practices. They treated one another with respect and affection.<\/p>\n

My neighborhood was unaware of health care, lacked agricultural techniques, did not invest in a savings organization, and did not participate in development activities. But as a result of FH Cambodia’s encouragement and inspiration for village development, my community has progressively advanced to the point where there is no domestic violence, parents frequently send their children to school, and the community is unified.
