Education Project in Puok is elevating education through partnerships with PoE, DoE, School leaders, teachers, commune leader, village leaders, and school management committees, focusing on literacy skills for children under 9.
Ms. Hun Sreymom, a Grade 2 teacher at Dontro Primary School, transformed her teaching after FH’s literacy training. Her students now excel in reading, writing, and spelling, showing significant progress in assessments. She credits FH Cambodia for this impactful change.
This project also collaborates with village leaders, CCWCs, and youth volunteers, launching 36 Hope Group Volunteer-Education programs in Trey Nhor, Rouerl, and Lvea communes to support caregivers. Bi-monthly NCM meetings reinforce these efforts. Children’s clubs and community libraries further assist slow learners in grades 1-3 with weekly classes and encourage reading, delighting parents and strengthening community ties with ongoing support from teachers and volunteers.
