Mr. Keuk Neay, a Community Partner/Promoter Volunteer, has experienced significant improvements in his household livelihood and community resilience since joining the FH program. He has become a saving leader and learned financial literacy, business-related knowledge, and technical know-how on chicken rearing. As a result, he maintains proper hygiene and provides sufficient nutrition for his young children. FH Cambodia has provided training on safe migration, child protection, and conflict resolution, which resulted in the absence of violence in the community. The community members are now part of a savings group and have improved their knowledge, attitude, and behavior by having good relationships and caring more about their children. Mr. Neay encourages his community to send their children to school.
Mr. Keuk Neay’s wife affirmed that “My husband has applied what he learned from FH Cambodia in his daily life. He now demonstrates a new attitude towards our children, living a humble life and speaking gently. He consistently applies his innovative knowledge”.
Mr. Keuk Neay summed it up, “I derive joy in giving back to my community by sharing my knowledge and time. I also find happiness in seeing positive changes and encourages parents to send their children to school”.
