Through their involvement in the FH Cambodia project, teachers at the school have supported students in developing friendly, cooperative, and helpful relationships by giving them the opportunity to explore agriculture outside of regular school hours and engage in practical learning experiences with their peers.
Prey Saak Primary School offers students the chance to be involved in every step of the vegetable-growing process, from planting to caring for the plants and harvesting. Furthermore, they sell the vegetables, provide planting materials, and allow students to bring home their harvest for cooking. As a result, it has become a common practice for students to cultivate their own vegetables during their free time, which they are then able to bring home their produce for cooking and assist their parents in growing fresh produce for consumption.
