From Water Collectors to Water Decision-Makers on WWW: How Women’s Leadership is Strengthening Community Water Systems
[English Below] នៅសប្តាហ៍ទឹកពិភពលោកឆ្នាំ ២០២៦ នេះ អង្គការ អេហ្វ អេក កម្ពុជា សូមអំពាវនាវដល់សហគមន៍ អាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋាន អង្គការសង្គមស៊ីវិល និងដៃគូអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ ដើម្បីលើកកម្ពស់ការចូលរួមប្រកបដោយអត្ថន័យរបស់ស្ត្រីក្នុងអភិបាលកិច្ចទឹក និងការសម្រេចចិត្ត។
តាមរយៈការផ្តល់សិទ្ធិអំណាចដល់ស្ត្រីជាអ្នកដឹកនាំ និងភ្នាក់ងារផ្លាស់ប្តូរ យើងអាចបង្កើតប្រព័ន្ធទឹកប្រកបដោយបរិយាបន្ន ភាពធន់ និងនិរន្តរភាពកាន់តែច្រើន ដែលផ្តល់អត្ថប្រយោជន៍ដល់មនុស្សគ្រប់គ្នា។
សកម្មភាពលើកកម្ពស់សំខាន់ៗ រួមមាន៖
– ស្ត្រីគឺជាតួអង្គសំខាន់ ជាអ្នកដឹកនាំ និងជាអ្នកសម្រេចចិត្ត ក្នុងការគ្រប់គ្រងប្រភពទឹក។
– ការចូលរួមស្មើភាពគ្នារបស់ស្ត្រី គឺពង្រឹងអភិបាលកិច្ច និងនិរន្តរភាពនៃការទទួលបានទឹកស្អាត។
– ការកាត់បន្ថយបន្ទុកនៃការប្រមូលទឹក បង្កើតឱកាសសម្រាប់ការអប់រំ ជីវភាពរស់នៅ និងភាពជាអ្នកដឹកនាំ។
– សេវាកម្ម ទឹកស្អាត និងអនាម័យ ដែលរួមបញ្ចូលសមភាពយេនឌ័រ ធ្វើឱ្យប្រសើរឡើងនូវសុខមាលភាព សេចក្តីថ្លៃថ្នូរ សុវត្ថិភាព និងមានភាពធន់សម្រាប់សហគមន៍។

On World Water Week 2026, FH Cambodia calls upon communities, local authorities, civil society organizations, and development partners to promote women’s meaningful participation in water governance and decision-making. By empowering women as leaders and change agents, we can create more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable water systems that benefit everyone.
Key actions include promoting:
- Women as essential stakeholders, leaders, and decision-makers in water management.
- Equal participation of women to strengthen governance and the sustainability of WASH services.
- Reduced burdens of water collection, creating greater opportunities for education, livelihoods, and leadership.
- Gender-inclusive WASH services that improve health, dignity, safety, and resilience for communities.
