FH Cambodia supported an orientation session on the use of improved early grade reading and math teaching and learning toolkits for teachers, school directors, librarians, and DoE officials in Samraong Area Program from 16-18 June 2026.
The session focused on the practical use of learning games and teaching materials to strengthen early grade reading and math skills. It also promoted learning through play, active student participation, and child-to-child support. Participants learned how to effectively use and maintain the toolkits, organize learning activities in classrooms and libraries, and provide rapid support to students who need additional help.
Through observation and participation during the training, teachers, school directors, librarians, and education officials expressed strong appreciation to FH Cambodia for supporting this important session. They recognized the training as a valuable opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills so they can use the materials effectively in teaching and learning.
FH Cambodia remains committed to working with education partners to improve the quality of early grade education and help children build strong foundations in reading, writing, and numeracy for their learning and future.
