[English Below] លោក ថម ថុន មានតួនាទីជា​មេភូមិនៅភូមិ​បិតផ្កា គាត់មានអាយុ ៤១ឆ្នាំ គាត់បាននិយាយថា៖

“ខ្ញុំត្រូវបានបោះឆ្នោតជ្រើសរើសជាមេភូមិ ដោយប្រជាជននៅក្នុងភូមិរបស់ខ្ញុំ។ ក្នុងនាមជាអ្នកដឹកនាំថ្មី និងវ័យក្មេងម្នាក់ក្នុងចំណោមគណៈកម្មការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ភូមិ ដំបូងឡើយខ្ញុំមានអារម្មណ៍ភ័យខ្លាច ហើយពិបាកក្នុងការដឹកនាំ ដោយសារខ្ញុំមិនមានបទពិសោធន៍ និងខ្វះចំណេះដឹង។ ខ្ញុំមិនមានភាពក្លាហានគ្រប់គ្រាន់ដើម្បីដឹកនាំអ្នកដទៃ ក្នុងការប្រមូលធនធាន គំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ ឬការនិយាយជាសាធារណៈនោះទេ។

នៅពេលអង្គការ អេហ្វ អេក កម្ពុជា បានចូលក្នុងសហគមន៍របស់ខ្ញុំមានការរីកចម្រើន ជាពិសេសក្នុងការកសាងសមត្ថភាពអ្នកដឹកនាំ សហគមន៍ ខ្ញុំបានចូលរួមវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាល និងកិច្ចប្រជុំជាច្រើន ដែលធ្វើឱ្យខ្ញុំមានទំនុកចិត្តខ្លាំងជាងមុនលើសមត្ថភាពដឹកនាំប្រជាជនរបស់ខ្ញុំ ផ្តល់ឱ្យខ្ញុំនូវការយល់ដឹងកាន់តែប្រសើរឡើងអំពីភាពជាអ្នកដឹកនាំ និងអាចឱ្យខ្ញុំពង្រឹងក្រុមគណៈកម្មការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ភូមិរបស់ខ្ញុំ។​

ពេលនេះខ្ញុំក្លាហានជាងពីមុនទៅទៀត ខ្ញុំមានបទពិសោធន៍រៀបចំផែនការ កៀរគរធនធានក្នុងសហគមន៍ ដើម្បីជួយកសាង និងអភិវឌ្ឍសហគមន៍របស់ខ្ញុំ។ ខ្ញុំអាចបង្កើតផែនការយុទ្ធសាស្រ្ត កំណត់គោលដៅសហគមន៍ និងដាក់សំណើទៅរដ្ឋាភិបាល ក៏ដូចជាអង្គការ និងភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធទាំងអស់ ដើម្បីធានាថាប្រជាជន និង សហគមន៍របស់ខ្ញុំរីកចម្រើន។ ខ្ញុំ​អាច​សម្រេច​បាន​ទាំង​អស់​នេះ​ដោយ​សារ​តែ​ខ្ញុំទទួលបានការពង្រឹងសមត្ថភាពដោយអង្គការ អេហ្វ អេក កម្ពុជា។ សូមថ្លែងអំណរគុណដល់អង្គការ អេហ្វ អេក កម្ពុជា ដែលបានជួយផ្តល់នូវវគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាល និងពង្រឹងសិទ្ធិអំណាចដល់អ្នកដឹកនាំសហគមន៍របស់ខ្ញុំ រួមទាំងរូបខ្ញុំផងដែរ។”

Mr. Thom Thon is a community leader of Bet Phkar Village. He is 41 years old. He said,

“I was elected as the village leader by the people in my village. As a new and young leader among the Village Development Community (VDC) at first, I felt nervous, and it was difficult to lead because I did not have experience and lacked knowledge. I am not brave enough to lead others in resource mobilization, development initiatives, or public speaking.

After FH Cambodia entered my community, it has progressed, particularly in building the capacity of community leaders. I have participated in numerous training sessions and meetings that have increased my confidence in my ability to lead my people, given me a better understanding of leadership, and enabled me to fortify my leadership team.

I’m braver now than I was before. I have experience organizing community resources to help build my community. I can create strategic plans, define community goals, and submit proposals to the government, as well as all relevant organizations and stakeholders, to ensure that my people and community grow. I can achieve all of this because of my work with FH Cambodia. Thank you, FH Cambodia, for assisting in training and empowering my community leaders, including myself.”
