Malnutrition in children under the age of two can have a far-reaching consequences on a child’s physical, mental, and emotional development.
Yet, assessing the nutritional status of these young children visually poses challenges, whether they are malnourished or overweight.
To address this issue, FH Cambodia has partnered with local health center professionals to identify the nutritional status of under 2-year-old children using Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) measurements, enabling them to detect malnourished children in the area and provide timely nutrition advice and treatment.
